beemytask Platform Acceptable Use Policy

 

This beemytask Platform Acceptable Use Policy (this “AUP”) is part of the beemytask Global Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this AUP have the definitions set forth in the Terms of Service. This AUP sets forth additional terms that apply to your use of the Platform. Users must comply with this AUP in their use of the Platform.  

 

Without limitation, you are not permitted to use the Platform or permit others to do so:

To defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, misrepresent, mislead, or otherwise violate the rights of others (including, without limitation, rights of privacy, confidentiality, reputation, and publicity);

Post, upload, share, or distribute any content, information, files containing software, or other materials that infringe or violate the intellectual property rights or rights of privacy or publicity of beemytask or any other user or third party, or that are profane, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful;

Upload files or scripts that may be designed to damage, copy, lock out, or take control of the Platform or a user’s computer, such as Trojan horses, corrupted files, SQL injections, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or other files and software;

To advertise or offer to sell goods or services for commercial purposes that are not relevant to the Task Services;

Post or complete a Task that requires a User to (1) earn or receive vouchers or money orders, (2) purchase high-value items (over $300/£300/€300, depending on the country) without prior approval from beemytask, (3) travel to other countries while completing a Task, (4) provide ride-sharing or other peer-to-peer transportation services, (5) post ratings or reviews on third-party websites that violate the terms of use of those third-party websites, or (6) otherwise engage in any activity that is illegal or determined, in beemytask’s sole discretion, to be dangerous, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate;

Conducting or forwarding surveys, competitions, pyramid schemes or chain letters;

Impersonate any other person or user, or allow any other person or entity to use another user’s profile to post or view comments (except as expressly permitted in the Terms of Service, Section 2(E)(ii) for Customer Representatives).

 

 

In addition, you may not do any of the following, nor allow any other party to do so:

Use or perform the Platform or the Task Services in a manner that violates the Agreement (including this AUP);

Use or perform the Platform or the Task Services in a manner or for any purpose (1) not expressly set forth in the Agreement (including, but not limited to, journalistic, academic, unlawful, or research purposes), (2) that is prohibited or illegal (including, but not limited to, posting or performing a Task in violation of any local, state, federal, provincial, national, or international law), (3) that is untrue or misleading (whether directly or through omission or failure to update information), or (4) to access or obtain (or attempt to access or obtain) any confidential business information of beemytask;

Post or upload to the Platform any Content (1) that is offensive and/or harmful (including, but not limited to, Content that advocates, condones, or promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm against any person or group of people, or exploits people in an abusive, harmful, or sexual manner), or (2) for which you have not obtained the necessary rights and permissions;

Publishing the same task repeatedly (“spamming”);

Download a file posted by another user that you know or reasonably should know is not authorized to be distributed through the Platform;

to restrict or prevent the use and enjoyment of public areas by other users;

Without beemytask’s prior written consent, imply or represent that any statements you make (whether on or off the beemytask Platform) are endorsed by beemytask;

Use any robot, spider, manual process, meta tags, “hidden text,” agent, script, and/or automatic process or device to mine or crawl databases or to import, collect, mine, republish, redistribute, transmit, sell, license, download, maintain, or index the beemytask Platform, email addresses, or personal information of others in any way;

Frame or use framing techniques to enclose the beemytask Platform or any part thereof;

Hack or disrupt the Platform, its servers and connected networks;

Adapt, modify, translate, or license or sublicense the beemytask Platform for your personal or commercial use;

Visually or otherwise remove, alter, or misuse any copyright, trademark, registered trademark, or other proprietary right owned by beemytask and its affiliates;

Promote any other business, website or service, or otherwise contact users for employment, contracting, or any other purpose not permitted by the Agreement;

Collect usernames, email addresses, or other personal information from users by electronic or other means;

Attempt to circumvent the payment system, the payment service provider, the service fee or the trust and assistance fee in any way (including, but not limited to, making or processing payments for tasks outside of the platform, providing inaccurate information on invoices or other fraudulent invoicing);

Register (1) under different usernames, identities, or false identities (including after your account has been suspended or terminated), (2) under multiple usernames or false identities, or (3) with false information (including a false email address or one-time use phone number);

Use tools designed to mask your IP address (such as the TOR network);

Copy, download, use, redesign, reconfigure, or retransmit anything from the beemytask Platform without the prior express written consent of beemytask and/or, if applicable, the consent of the owner of the rights to the User Generated Content;

Use artificial intelligence technologies to create or generate a Platform account or impersonate another person or user; or

Incorporate any portion of the Platform (including, without limitation, any information from beemytask) into any artificial intelligence technologies.
